Hallway transformation

We love what we do, we love creating bespoke pieces for our clients but this one we well and truly fell in love with. We met our client Hannah at her home in Newport Pagnell, Milton Keynes early last month. Hannah showed us her current hallway and told us what she wanted to achieve, hide the radiators and create storage for shoes and give it a wow factor. With a radiator on each wall, buying off the shelf furniture was just not an option. Hannah was extremely bold with her design ideas wanting to paint the walls a dark blue and asked if we could offer our usual metal work in a gold finish!

After taking some measurements and listening to Hannah’s ideas we set about mocking up a scaled 3D image of how the units may look, we sent these over and once approved we got started.

The build took a little longer than planned as we had to find a new supplier to machine our specialist components to allow light fittings to fit seamlessly with our metalwork, it’s this attention to detail that makes us a little different and we haven’t seen anyone else do this yet.

Whilst we were busy, Hannah was transforming the walls with a deep shade of blue, this was going to really work well with the warm tones of the wood along with the bold colours of the metal.

Install day arrived and after 3 hours of installation the units were installed, the lighting wired up and cleaned up ready to dress.

We we absolutely loved the final outcome of this bespoke unit, let us know what you think and drop us an email info@outhouse-byhand.com to discuss your next furniture idea.
